Kathy Sager is a Chairman’s Club, Award-Winning Senior Vice-President and Investment Advisor at Canada’s largest Independent brokerage firm, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management. Kathy provides holistic planning to High-Net-Worth individuals and families, helping them advance their wealth management goals. What truly separates Kathy from other Advisors, is her high-touch communication with her clients and extraordinary ability to connect with them on a deeper, more personal level. Kathy has many long-lasting relationships; some of which have spanned over her entire career since 1980. Her philosophy has always been to build connections with Portfolio Managers with the most brilliant minds in the industry, proper asset allocation and strong diversification. She has been extremely successful in providing clients with impressive alpha and protection in all market conditions.
While she is recognized as one of the top female advisors in Canada, Kathy learned at a young age how to be resilient and survive in a competitive workforce dominated by men. Kathy began her career with the Xerox Corporation as a sales representative, where she completed one of the most extensive and disciplined sales training programs at that time. From there, she was hired by Merrill Lynch as a rookie broker and within the first six months, was the biggest performer in the branch. Shortly after beginning her career in finance, she started teaching and educating women in wealth and has continued to do so to this day. Through her wisdom, perspective and commitment, Kathy has guided many of her clients to reach their lifelong dreams by achieving exceptional returns year over year. Her ability to communicate complex financial concepts through understandable terms, is what makes her stand out amongst the rest.
Kathy lives in West Vancouver with her husband Mark, three dogs and one cat and has a passion for the arts, as her daughter is a professional Opera singer in New York City. She has been an avid supporter of The Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver since its inception twenty years ago and is also a donor to numerous Animal Rescue initiatives and charities globally.
Jennifer was born and raised on Vancouver Island and attended VIU before relocating to Vancouver in 2010. She began her career at RBC Dominion Securities in West Vancouver then moved to CIBC Wood Gundy in 2013 to join with Kathy Sager. Jennifer’s adaptability, resiliency and dynamic personality make her an intricate team player that is able to step into many roles. Jennifer is our first point of contact, maintains core client relationships, security transactions as well as construction and execution of portfolio proposals.
Jennifer has completed several courses through the Canadian Securities Institute including Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Practices Handbook, Building a Mutual Fund Advisory Practice and is licensed through IIROC as Investment Representative. In her down time, She is an avid runner, licensed yoga instructor and has a passion for health and wellness. Jennifer spends most of her spare time with her toy poodle Archie, reading, hiking and spending time in nature.
In her role as Investment Associate, Kerry is dedicated to delivering thoughtful and proactive client attention and care - always putting client needs first. She has been working in the industry for 10 years and is dedicated to growing her knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial Planning.
Justin started his career in Financial services 10 years ago and has worked with both corporate and retail clients and their families in shaping their financial goals and executing tailored solutions. He has been a company top performer and Award Recipient throughout his career before advancing to Canaccord Genuity. He takes great pride in the relationship aspect of the business, where communication and transparency are at the forefront. Before Finance, Justin worked in the film industry where he raised capital for feature film projects and worked with some of the most renown Producers in the city. Justin also has a great passion for sports, where he represented Canada in baseball in both 2004/2005 and went on to play at the University of Hawaii on a full scholarship. His competitive nature and energy he brings to the business is refreshing; where sophisticated financial strategies, performance and service is at the core. Further, being a high-level athlete has provided Donnelly with a great understanding of teamwork. He uses this approach to leverage professional relationships through his network of Accountants, Lawyers, lending specialists and Investment Analysts to produce the strongest and most consistent risk-adjusted results for his clients.
